Solarium

Solarium for horses is a specialized infrared heating system designed to provide therapeutic warmth to horses. These systems are typically mounted in grooming areas and deliver controlled heat that penetrates deep into muscles, promoting relaxation and improving blood circulation. The infrared light emitted by the solariums is safe and beneficial, as it does not contain harmful UV rays. Instead, it generates heat that stimulates blood circulation and oxygen flow, helping to relieve muscle tension and reduce stiffness. This is particularly useful for performance horses, whose muscles endure significant stress during training and competition. Additionally, solariums can help with drying and coat conditioning, reducing the risk of chills or fungal infections. 

Hot Washing 

• Hot water helps activate the shampoo and deliver it to the roots of the hair, allowing it to effectively perform a better job of removing debris and grease form your equine.

• Hot water results in happier horse, especially when the winter when the temperature is cool or cold

• Even in the summer, if the horses are really sweaty after activity, it is recommended not to hose the horse with cold water, as this can create complications such as significant blood vessel constriction – it is recommended to use hot water or lukewarm water.
