About the event
‼️Our Showjumping League is back ‼️
🏇 It all kicks off from Thursday 4th April & will run fortnightly until 11th of July then weekly until Thursday 22nd August 🥳
☀️☀️ We are pleased to say that we are once again officially a qualifying venue for The Sunshine Tour Championships held at The All-England Showground, Hickstead from Thursday 12th – Sunday 15th September 2024. ☀️☀️
Read on for a reminder about the Sunshine Tour Championships!
The Championships are for unaffiliated and amateur competitors in Dressage from Intro to Elementary, Show Jumping from Lead Rein to 1.05m; Showing for lead rein, in-hand, ridden, working hunter, veterans, plus many more, Eventer’s Challenge from 50cm through to 90cm. 🥳
We will, of course, also be running our Bowes Manor Equestrian Championship League alongside the sunshine tour! 🏆

Riding school ponies are available to hire for £25 or £20 if sharing a horse. There will be no more than 2 sharing and a maximum of 2 classes per person! Payments MUST be made in advance to secure your pony & these are on a first come, first served basis.
We have ample parking and refreshments are available all night from our onsite cafe ☕️
League Regulations
✨ All events will be ran under BS rules. https://www.britishshowjumping.co.uk/membership/member-handbook-and-rule-amendments
✨ All classes are ran as single phase. If 1 to 6 are jumped clear then you continue to Fence 7 - 12 for a timed Jump off.
✨ You must wait for the bell to ring prior to starting your round.
✨ 4 Faults for refusal, knockdown or circling prior to the tense.
✨ Horses must travel with passports and be up to date with their inoculations. This may be checked.
✨ Excessive use of whips & spurs will lead to immediate disqualification and being asked to leave the premises.
✨ All riders must be wearing appropriate clothing - Jodhpurs/Breeches with long or short riding boots.
✨ All riding hats must be PAS 015 (2001), VG1 provided they are BSI Kitemarked. This may be checked. Body protectors are recommended but not mandatory.
✨ Maximum of 6 riders in the warm up at any given time.
✨ Any mistreatment of horses will result in immediate disqualification & a permanent ban from future events.
✨ Pony hire MUST be paid by Tuesday before the event.
